I am a graphic designer currently living in Birmingham, AL with my husband, Adrian and dog, Kara. Most of my background is in print production and magazine and newspaper layout design but I have also done a lot of illustration, product packaging and more through freelance work. I got my start in graphic design halfway through college. My last semester I began frequent freelance work, mostly creating packaging and product designs for a college football merchandise company.

A year later I began working full-time as a graphic designer for Gulf Coast Media near my hometown in Baldwin County, Alabama, designing bi-weekly newspapers and special publications. I worked there for almost three years, first as a full-time employee, then as an independent contractor working from El Paso, TX. In 2015 I began working at Markham Bailey LLC in Irondale, AL. There I worked as an account technician preparing files for print and operating print equipment. It was a small business so I did a little bit of everything there: designing, printing, invoicing, shipping, placing purchase orders and more. Our main focus was labels and wide format printing for the coffee and tea industry and the brewery industry. In August of 2017 I returned to Gulf Coast Media, now owned by parent company Osteen Publishing Company working remotely from Birmingham, Alabama as their graphic designer. In addition to my former duties, I began designing ads and overseeing the overall look of everything. In the fall of 2021 I left that job and started working for Big Friendly Productions. They are a music production company that started a screen printing operation during COVID and I took over the art and managing duties for that side of the business. I design artwork for screen printing, do separations for printing, create graphics for social media and websites and handle order fulfillment and inventory for some of our clients.

Besides design I also teach hoop classes and perform. I am a performer and owner/artistic director of the fire, LED and circus entertainment company Luminarts Entertainment LLC. I also enjoy learning new things in my free time. In 2020 during quarantine I taught myself how to play the drumset and I have been working on my Spanish as well. My husband is a musician so I spend a lot of time going out to his performances as well as other concerts that friends of ours are playing.
